We truly didn’t know what we wanted. We loved the place just as it was. We knew it needed some work but we were afraid that if we started changing things we would end up with something else and loose the original spirit and integrity of the boat. How much can you change and still call it the same place? Working with JOY-SF we were guided every step of the way in maintaining what was important to the feeling, what was important to the structure and what was important to our needs. In the end we rebuilt everything inside and out. We made a million small changes and in the end it had everything we wanted and felt like it was even more original and fully realized with a vitalized spirit more present and alive.
